Haven't we all done this?

Hasn't everyone done the fad diets, jumping on the gym band wagon, making goals only to let yourself down, became bored with your routine or gotten so busy with every day life that you feel like you just don't have the time to take care of yourself like you should?
This has been me for as long as I can remember, until I saw an infomercial for Turbo Jam years ago with Chalene Johnson and Beachbody.com. From then on I was hooked! I have tried and completed several of the programs (Chalean Extreame, P90X, Insanity to name a few) and they are now a part of my every day life. It's like breathing, I no longer dread working out because all of these programs work and you see AMAZING and REAL results. There is no way that I could ever go back to how I used to view working out after the results that I have had.
In addition to the fun and energizing workouts, the shakeology shakes actually taste as amazing as they are for you. Between a full time job, a million hobbies and always something going on, I don't always have the time or the energy to eat the way that I should. With the Shakeology shakes, they provide the fuel and energy that I need to get through the day not to mention all the fiber, minerals and vitamins that we never get enough of in our daily meals.
Beachbody has so many workouts to choose from, there has GOT to be one out there for every fitness level and set of goals. It's time to do something just for you and not feel guilty about it and put just as much energy into yourself as you do for your family and friends needs. NO MORE EXCUSES! :)

Should I become a Beachbody Coach?

This blog is for anyone who is interested in becoming a coach but just can't get over the excuses we keep making for ourselves :)

Should I Coach? (taken from a fellow coach)

I hear this a LOT. So I am going to break it down for you Some common excuses-

“I am SO busy, I can’t possibly coach” : EXACTLY!!! Are you busy spending time with your spouse, children and/or family? Or are you busy running around working for everyone else just trying to get by? This is actually one of the reasons I became a coach. Yup, it’s true. YES I am/was super busy, BUT i had to make the decision, do I want to be running around this busy in 5 years, OR do I want to have more control over my time, finances and life? Simple as that. Wouldn’t it be worth moving a few things around in your day if you could be working from home in a few years and still doing fantastic financially and physically? That's what I thought. So, yeah things can get crazy, but when that happens, I look at my priorities, glance and my vision board, and think “do i want things to be this crazy in 5 years? or do I want to work hard now at something that matters, and be in a calmer, more enjoyable place in 5 years? I think the answer to that question is obvious

” I don’t have the money right now” : So if you don’t have the money right now, don’t you want to do something to change that. You don’t really want to be in this same tight spot NEXT year, and the next year and the next year. OBVIOUSLY what your doing right now isn’t allowing you to live comfortably. It is time investigate the potential in this business. There are success stories ALL over the Internet, people barely making it, using that drive to share fitness and health, and are now living comfortably. This is yet ANOTHER reason i became a coach. I refuse to be someone who lives pay check to pay check for the rest of her life. I want to make a change, and darn it, I made some extreme budget cuts a little over a year ago so that I could be a part of this, and it has DEFINITELY paid off. It pays to help others! Not to mention the discounts, where can you get a life gym membership, or be trained by the BEST fitness professionals for life, for 90- $120 dollars? This not only SAVES you money, but it MAKES you money (if you put in the time and have the passion)

“I am not fit enough” : EXACTLY! Wouldn’t it make sense to join a group of supportive coaches who will keep you accountable? Wouldn’t it make sense to start a business based on the MOST successful fitness programs out there? Wouldn’t it make sense to SHOW people your transformation? Wouldn’t it make sense to get a sweet discount on shakeology? This is exactly why you SHOULD coach. When you become your own advertisement, you are forced to stay accountable. You work out everyday because it’s your job. You have access to P90x, Turbo Fire, Insanity, Turbo jam, P90x2, turbo jam, shakeology etc. It just makes sense, SHOW people a success story. SHOW people what is possible, what you are capable of. There will be people out there that only YOU can connect with and inspire, because they are in the SAME place you are, either starting, or at the beginning of their fitness journey. Become a coach to GET health and fit.

“I am already a fitness instructor/personal trainer”: EXACTLY!! (are you getting sick of that word yet ?) You have a HUGE group of people looking to you for fitness support, accountability and advice. Do you really expect your clients to make it to your class/training session 6 days a week? That’s a little ridiculous. Why not give them resources that will help them while they are NOT at the gym. Are you scared they will stop training with your or stop coming to your class? DON’T be. One- they come to your class/session because they trust and need YOU. They have connected with you, you have helped them. Why not give them more of a reason to trust you. They may even refer you to there friends. WHY wouldn’t they, You helped them get results EVEN faster by adding shakeology and a home program to your classes/sessions. Two- WHO CARES? if they purchase a program or shakeology from you, You are still there coach. You will still be there helping them throughout their journey. Maybe if they see these great results, they will want to refer there friends to you, or join your team. SEE?
Oh, and with how popular Beachbody is, you can either suggest these programs to your clients and they can purchase from you, OR they can purchase it from teambeachbody.com or from the infomercial, be assigned a coach. Then you would really say good bye to your client. Coaching is just a NO BRAINER if you are already into fitness. Be the COMPLETE Fitness and health resource for your clients.
Lastly- You LOVE helping people right? But as an instructor/trainer you are geographically LIMITED. I have built a very successful business on facebook and twitter. Coaching will help you reach and help MORE people . See what I am getting at. This is what you already do on a LARGER scale.

“I am SO not a fitness person”” EXACTLY! The majority of the population are NOT fitness enthusiasts. If you could become a coach, and show them what someone who feels the same way can become fit and successful, you could connect with ALL those people. You don’t have to have 20 years of fitness experience and degrees to suggest to people what worked for you, and then keep them accountable through a text, or facebook message or group. ALL the fitness and nutrition advice is already available as part of the programs and on the Team BeachBody Website. Hello, No brainer. Become a coach, find accountability and resources and connect with the millions of people JUST like you. This is a business based on building relationships and helping people. If you don’t like fitness, then that's even MORE of a reason why you NEED this, its difficult to do something everyday if you absolutely do not like it. Build layers of accountability. EVERYBODY, I repeat EVERYBODY needs exercise. There are NO exceptions. Coaching just makes SENSE.

“I am So not a business/sales person”: Thank GOODNESS, I do NOT want icky sales people on my team. The thing about coaching is, You get healthy and fit, or start your fitness journey, the people around you notice, and they ask you what your doing. There are NO required home parties (those are the worst), there are no quotas to meet, no going door to door. All you do is set out to live a healthier lifestyle that includes exercise and good nutrition, and when people ask you, you tell them how your doing it. You tell them where your energy comes from, you tell them how you went down 5 pants sizes. That's it. O and the business part? Please, I am a registered nurse, I am NOT a business major. All the training you could possibly need is available to you as SOON as you become a coach. Also, if you join my team, you will be a part of Team Platinum Presenters. The BEST most successful team of coaches out there. The training provided to this group is out of this world. O and its free. So there are no excuses, apply what you learn, and you will succeed.
Did you find your excuse somewhere in this blog? Don’t you see? Coaching/Exercise/Nutrition is for everybody. EVERYBODY. Do you still think your situation is special and doesn’t apply? Message me, I would LOVE to hear from you. After a year of coaching, I STILL have not found anyone that coaching wouldn’t benefit.
PS
People who SHOULD NOT coach:
-People who ENJOY not being healthy
-People who enjoy NOT having energy
- People who don’t want to be successful
-People who like being out of shape and fat
- People who don’t want to teach their children good habits
- People who have time to cook and eat 13 servings of fruit and veggies, and get all the recommended protein and fiber and vitamins for $4 dollars a day
- People who ENJOY being miserable, tired and overworked
-People who do NOT want to be at home to watch their children grow
- People who enjoy being negative and unproductive.
-People who ENJOY paying for medications and doctor bills.
* if any of these are you, please do NOT join my team. My team is full of Positive, happy, motivating, Fit-minded people who have dreams and have every intention of attaining there dreams. Not everyone on my team is a fitness professional, but they are smart people who learned that to live a happy healthy life, you have to include exercise and healthy eating. PERIOD.

Getting Excited

So the holiday's were great. Great family, great memories, great food! What is not so great is coming back from a 6 day vacation from the workout and diet. I know, I know! I should have had more control but you really can't when mom is making apple struddel, German chocolate cake and grandma brings German cookies and rum balls! Not to mention all the egg nog and wine. Food coma anyone??

So here it is a few days before the new year and I am obviously anxious to get back in gear. I have P90X2 all ready to go starting Monday Jan 2nd 2012. I will be posting progress pics at the beginning, middle and end.

I hope I can keep myself motivated and hopefully some friends and family as well.

TIME TO BRING IT!
